Abstract :
A variable-speed variable-frequency remote small wind electric pumping system (SWEPS) is proposed, aiming at matching the characteristics of variable speed generation and a centrifugal pump. Start up problems are considered. An indirect stator flux based field orientation control strategy is studied and simulation results are presented
