  • Abstract
    A new watermarking algorithm based on new-defined characters using TrueType for Microsoft Word documents is proposed. In this algorithm, new-defined characters generated by TrueType function are used as a watermark, and this watermark is embedded into the host Microsoft Word document according to some rules. We simulated this algorithm by C++ language, and the experimental results showed that this algorithm has completely imperceptibility, high robustness against many kinds of attacks and can locate the tamper locations. The proposed algorithm can be used in the copyright protection for Microsoft Word documents.
