Abstract :
This paper mainly studies the problems of helicopter blades detection and tracking in image sequences acquired by a moving camera, it presents a method of background motion compensation and difference based on block matching technique. As proved by experiments, the method not only eliminates the bad effects of camera moving to object detection, but also the target extracted from real-time images is relatively entire. Through the method combined with image symmetry difference, the thesis designs a method of moving target tracking based on moving camera. The experiments of rotating blades in complex background show that the results of tracking targets appear relatively good. The method can track the target in a small sight angle, and it has some functional values to a degree in a video surveillance system with a single camera.
