  • Abstract
A more efficient automated method is described for extracting the coronary arterial tree from a 3-D dynamic spatial reconstructor (DSR) angiogram. The method, its advantages, and the results of a 3-D arterial, tree extraction are discussed. The advantages of the method are that it requires only a few minutes of operator time to analyze a volume, the results are exactly reproducible, given the parameter values, and the algorithm works in three dimensions
