Abstract :
In this paper, a simple algorithm using a decentralized filtering technique to estimate system states is given. The proposed algorithm can avoid the computational burden occuring in the standard Kalman filtering algorithm, and can be used to generate optimal estimates of failed sensor outputs in multisensor systems. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm is effective
