Abstract :
Much of the recent literature concerning the switched reluctance motor (SRM) is focused on motor performance prediction. In this paper, a mathematical model of an SRM is developed and its steady-state characteristics are computed. The given results, obtained by computer simulation, are shown to verify the proposed model
