Abstract :
A method for the prediction of interference and service zones for VHF/UHF tactical radio systems is proposed, developed, and illustrated by a few characteristic examples. It is noted that mathematical propagation models or more accurate computer-aided field prediction methods could be applied. A modification of a recently proposed statistical definition of the coverage area is applied to the service area determination, with the possibility of single or multiple interference analyses
