Abstract :
The authors discuss the theory and method of a software environment for developing an expert decision support system. Combined with the discussion of some issues such as knowledge representation and acquisition; management of knowledge base, database and model base; inference mechanism; etc., a specific expert decision support system development environment (EDSS-DE) developed by the authors is introduced. Experiments show that the design goal of EDSS-DE is fulfilled
