Abstract :
The link between the linear complementary problem (LCP) and piecewise-linear (PWL) resistive circuits is extended by allowing a generalized form of the LCP. Using this generalized LCP (GLCP) a very broad class of circuits can be described and analyzed. The authors give an algorithm to find all solutions of this GLCP and hence of a PWL circuit. The same technique can be applied to driving-point and transfer characteristics
