Survey on the style and description of software architecture

The software system has been becoming more and more complex with the development of hardware. Thus, how to efficiently develop extensible, maintainable and adaptable software occurs to be an urgent problem. The software architecture-based development technique is a better method to solve the problem. In this paper, we discuss the concept of software architecture, and its style, description methods. Research and apply to the software architecture, be propitious to enhance the reusability, extensibility and maintainability of software, be propitious to shorten development cycle, reduce maintenance cost and enhance software quality. As a new software development method, software architecture will be widely used in the future.
