The memory of historical data in CSCW

This work discusses the necessity of the memory of historical data in CSCW, and the methods of memory. Keeping cooperative operation history is a basic requirement for CSCW systems. This work proposes an approach to use the memory of historical data to record all the members´ operations. Version control techniques are adopted to keep cooperative history. In the proposed approach, the historical data are used to find out where a mistake occurs, by whom, and during which operation.
