Implementation of an advanced Recipe Management System in a fully automated 300mm fab

As the business landscape becomes more complex, high tech companies will invariably need to significantly improve their factory systems or replace them completely. The success, speed, and cost to convert the factory´s systems depend on key factors such as the organization of the team and the approach they take. In this paper, we illustrate how we created a high performance matrix team and used lean manufacturing techniques to fully swap out the recipe management system and replaced it with a commercial product in an advanced fully automated 300mm fab. We will walk through some important aspects of how we successfully created a team that accomplished more scope in less time.
