Abstract :
The 2011 IEEE International Conference on Automation Science and Engineering (IEEE CASE 2011) comes to Europe for the first time in its history. Italy proudly hosts this seventh edition in one of the most fascinating Italian cities. Indeed, located in north eastern Italy and at the head of the most northern part of the Mediterranean sea, Trieste is an important hub of literature, music and science and a gate among Germanic, Latin and Slavic cultures. The past CASE have take place in China, USA, India and Canada to reach Italy this year.
