Abstract
In order to calculate the frequency electric field from EHV transmission lines, a physical model of EHV transmission lines is established and predigested . According to the boundary element principle, the method of calculating the frequency electric field is narrated detailed. Taking 500 KV three-phase four split wire for example, the frequency electric field from transmission lines is calculated by this method, and the electric distribution characteristics are analyzed. The advantages of this method are that three-dimensional field is reduced to two-dimensional field to handle, getting high accuracy and easy to handle complex structure of the electric field problems.
