Abstract
To remit the problem of lacking of good quality of water in Jia county, Shaanxi, China, groundwater should be assessed objectively and reasonably. For this purpose, the target dispersion rate was introduced to enhance the Osculating Value Method, and Comentropy was used to calculate the weights of evaluated factors. After that, it was used to assess the groundwater quality in the study area and the rational result was obtained. The analysis reveals that the quality of fissure-water is better than pore water. The result obtained by Nemerow index evaluation method contrasted with this result and its shortage was mentioned.
