Abstract :
Smart grid has become the development trend of the future power grid, and the accessed Distributed Generation is a very important aspect of smart grid. While distributed generation accessed in distribution network, it makes distribution network protection can´t operate properly, which makes difficulties to relay protection setting. Relay protection setting, online checking, considering the online operational risk assessment and simulation of relay protection have became an important part of dispatching automation system. These systems require a common relay protection model and simulation algorithm. However, at present in China, there is no uniform national standard in relay protection model. Considering that the impact of distributed generation to the relay protection are relate to the way that distributed generation is accessed into grid, the capacity that accessed and the location of distributed generation in network. So first of all, this paper studies on the expansion on the protection of the existing CIM (common information model) model, establish contact with the distributed generation, expand the attributes of the distributed generation, and achieved a complete protection system model including distributed generation system. And then coordinate IEC61970 standard and IEC 61850 standard model. This paper also clears the standards for the protection of these two systems where need to coordinate the contents of the modeling: IEC61970 needed to increase the association with measurement and protection equipment. It also should be added a logical node that is correspond with IEC61850 in the IEC61970.The extended model which this paper mentioned can be a good setting to meet the simulation of relay protection.
