Abstract :
By using numerical calculation method, the electromagnetic field of a turbine generator was calculated and the iron loss in stator yoke and tooth was analyzed respectively, and the distribution of iron loss in stator core could be obtained. Compared with the iron loss calculated from traditional method, the numerical calculated result is close to the measured value. Then taking the iron loss as the heat source, temperature field of a tooth and a slot was calculated. Comparing the obtained results with test data, the temperature field of distribution heat source is closer to the experimental value. Thus some reasonable conclusions were obtained, which can provide some help for the design of turbine generator.
