Abstract :
Realization of real-time on-line fault diagnosis has great significance to determine fault device as soon as possible, reduce power losses, and help dispatchers process fault. In this paper, based on previous theories of fault diagnosis, the practicable on-line intelligent fault diagnosis system is developed with unified model of information description and multi-source information fusion technology. This information includes information of switch, protection and recorder, which are on the foundation of EMS/protection information system. The diagnosis system is proved to be effective in practice after being applied to the real power system.
