  • Abstract
    The general policies to construct the mutual fault- tolerant and standby SCADA system based on multi-agent technology for multi- area centralized control centers were presented in the paper in order to raise the safety and operational reliability of the power grid without additional equipment investment. The economic efficiency and feasibility of the system construction based on the policies are analyzed. The architecture of MAS and the function design of the Agents are introduced in detail and the specific implementation scheme and the corresponding key technologies are elucidated. The data and application fault-tolerance of SCADA system is realized to guarantee the reliability and continuity of the power grid operation.
