Abstract
This paper describes a novel system of measuring fluid flow velocity through the detection of vortices using a double ended tuning fork (DETF) mechanical resonator, which is also capable of measuring fluid density (therefore mass flow) and fluid viscosity. Initial experiments have been conducted for gas flow and static liquids
