Abstract :
Solid phase extraction-high performance liquid chromatography was used to investigate two endocrine disrupting chemicals(EDCs) which in source water, traditional water purification process and pipe network water in Pingshantou waterplant of Huainan city. Results showed that EE2 and E1 in water samples were all detected. Simultaneously, EE2 left in the effluent of the plant increased after it was transported through pipes. It verifies that EDCs in drinking water partly come from the release of pipe material for water delivering besides the contaminated source water.
