Abstract
Voltage dip generation and propagation in power systems are briefly discussed. Proper methodologies for addressing the problem in public networks and customer plants are analyzed. A fast-response, low-cost static booster system is proposed as an effective method to relieve most of the consequences for industrial power loads. Simulation results of the proposed circuit are also reported and discussed
