  • Abstract
Mining history has already a long time in TongGuan gold mine area, and what discarding residue and the waste water at will have caused the river water severe pollution. However the groundwater isn´t polluted. This paper found out the mining area river water quality present condition by means of collecting some river water samples. On this foundation from analyzing the groundwater pollution path, the survey methods of the permeate water experiment in the river bed, the groundwater table and the river water flux are adopted. Some features of the groundwater recharge, runoff and drainage are researched. The results indicate that the groundwater wasn´t polluted because of the filter layer protection in the vadose zone; however the river bed water-resisting layer reduced the groundwater renewable capability. These results have important significance to improve the people living environment in the gold mine area.
