  • Abstract
    We have developed a new pipe-based transmission system, which utilizes a pair of refrigerant pipes of the air conditioner. Field examination of the pipe-based transmission system on the pipeline of existing air-conditioning equipments in a building has been completed. In this paper describes the field test results, such as bit error ratio and physical transmission rates and radiated electric field at the out side of the building. We have confirmed the pipe-based transmission system has practical reliability for the control system through the field test.
