Abstract :
After the road opened to traffic, it began to play a role in the production and peoples´ lives, inevitably. Highway road would impact the social environment of the road domain. Currently, most of the road´s environmental impacts on society focused on the road construction period, rarely involve the road in operation and maintenance phase. But after the road was put into operation, the impact on the social environment could not be ignored. This article analyzed the impact of road in the period of operation and maintenance on social environment by the following aspects: the impact on mobility and migration of people in the road domain, on the use of infrastructure and resources along the highway and on the existing traffic environment, and then proposed some recovery solutions.
