Abstract :
Diabetes affects millions of people worldwide and currently there are invasive ways to detect the levels of glucose or blood sugar. A new non-invasive way to measure glucose is to monitor glucose levels in the eye. This is done using eyeglasses that are connected to a piece of machinery, which analyze data. In the years to come, this research project would also like to be able to make an artificial pancreas, which will be able to insert insulin into the patient after readings of glucose, have been taken.
