  • Abstract
This paper gives an overview of the research at the High Voltage Laboratory, Department of Electrical Engineering, Chulalongkorn University. Dielectric particles commonly exist in applications such as photocopying, printing, and coating. In insulation systems, particles are used as a filler to improve the electrical or mechanical properties of insulators. The method of multipole images for calculating electric field on various types of particles under a variety of conditions is proposed. The paper also describes the research on numerical field analysis by the use of the boundary element method.
