Abstract :
A new Synchronous-ballistic control system based on variable universe is proposed for the cooperative control of the vehicle´s steering and antilock braking systems. The control architecture is composed with the steering controller and the braking controller. To improve the cooperative performances of the whole system, the adaptive controller based on variable universe is designed according to the nonlinear comprehensive model. These two controllers realize the tracking to real signal by adjust the universe. Then Synchronous-ballistic controller applicable to the complex work condition is presented. Finally, the result of simulation proves that the Synchronous-ballistic control system based on variable universe is correct and feasible. It improves the braking stability and steering performance.
