Abstract :
This paper studies the quantization effect on the discrete-time equivalent control-based sliding-mode control systems. Upper bounds of the system steady states are established. Some inherent dynamical behavior properties of the systems are explored. The analysis for second-order systems is then extended to higher-order systems. The dynamic behaviors of discrete-time equivalent control-based sliding-mode control systems with and without quantized state feedback are compared. Simulations are presented to verify the theoretical results.
