  • Abstract
    This paper studies lightning protection technique for oil depot and focuses on monitoring data analysis in application of lightning disaster assessment in order to decide the location, sectorization and layout of the new oil depot. Lightning disaster assessment can help to decide when the lightning protection system and the lightning protection device should be checked and updated. Lightning forecasting and warning are useful for the routine operation in oil depot. Authors also presented viewpoints based on the routine check of the lightning protection device, various meteorological data such as lightning disaster assessment, forecasting, and warning, can be used in comprehensive lightning protection service.
