  • Abstract
    LCD, which is commonly utilized for HMI design in data display on SCM (single-chip microprocessor), provides users effective ways to communicate with machines by large amount of information. However, the codes will be more complicated with more data or display style, thus the study of optimum design becomes necessary for data display program. The debug and diagnose interface, one HMI in flow measurement system based on ultrasonic, is demonstrated as an example in this paper. Furthermore, this paper defines the data structure, analyses the optimization in program design. Considering the characteristics of SCM, the optimum design procedure of data display is illustrated in detail, with methods for data display of numeric type provided. The design could be utilized in other LCD display program of SCM.
