Abstract :
This paper presents a distributed cooperative tracking control method for energy storage type light rail charging system. A cooperative technique to solve the charging current imbalance problem of parallel system is proposed. Firstly, the model of the charging system is established. Then, a desired trajectory of charging current is designed. With the proposed tracking control law, the distributed charger converges to the desired trajectory. It is shown that the control gain design can be decoupled from the topology of the graphs, by using the LQR-based optimal control technique. The proposed charging strategy is applied to the energy storage type light rail of China South Locomotive. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method to overcome the current imbalance problem.
