Abstract :
The present paper reports initial results of dielectric behaviour of polyethylene filled with and without a certain amount of carbon black, unaged and UV radiated for an extended period of time, in the frequency range 10-5 Hz to 106 Hz. The dielectric behaviour of the LDPE flat samples show the presence of relaxation peaks obeying the fractional power law in addition to a quasi-DC process as the ageing progresses
