  • Abstract
    Problems of estimation and accuracy for target location in two-dimensional (2D) sensor network are investigated. Considering the influence of the actual Earth Curvature on the target location accuracy, a triangulation location with data fusion algorithm based on the actual ellipsoidal earth model for 2D sensor network is presented, and the location equations and accuracy estimation expressions are calculated. The dada fusion method utilizes the all of measurements from the sensors. Experiment results show that the proposed algorithm has relatively high location accuracy observing in real three-dimensional space, and it can improve the location accuracy by selecting the corresponding sensors according to the error graphs.
