Abstract :
A practicable implementation scheme of integer MDCT (IntMDCT) and inverse MDCT in MP3 audio coding is proposed in this paper. The computational complexity of this scheme is analyzed, and the comparison with the existing schemes has also been made. The scheme requires more computation compared with existing schemes because it takes the transform windows into account, which is essential in lossless MP3 coding.
