Abstract :
The application of microwave regeneration technique for diesel emission particulate filter (DEPF) is experimentally studied and analyzed in this paper. The results indicate that microwave regeneration technique is very efficient. The regeneration efficiency of the filter can reach 80% or so; the duration of regeneration is about 12 minutes. Meanwhile, it can be concluded after further analysis for the results of regeneration that the design of smooth transition section and the distribution of microwave energy in the regeneration cavity affect the results of regeneration
