Abstract
MVDS is a terrestrial broadcasting technology that utilizes low power microwave transmission and considered as a broadband wireless point-to-multipoint communication network. Adapting such network with broadcast environment requires partitioning the spectrum between video broadcasting and interactive services. ATM, IP and DVB transport methodologies must be integrated relevant to ETSI standard. Cross polarization technique and Offset frequency distribution proposed to manage the Bandwidth, and Network transmission hierarchy using a combination of Ka-band, Ku-band and SMATV system are proposed to implement transmission system of such network
