Abstract :
Considers a parametrization of a class of J spectral factors of a J spectral density. The notion of a J-stable spectral factor is introduced and it is shown how four extremal J-spectral factors can be derived from each other. Some applications of J-spectral factorizations in representation theory and H∞ control theory are discussed
