Abstract
A blind adaptive approach to optimum linear cancellation in long-code CDMA communications is proposed in this paper. The optimum linear combining method is shown equivalently to be amenable to training-based adaptive implementation via mean-square error minimization. Further, this solution is the same as that obtained by a constrained minimum output energy (CMOE) formulation, for which adaptive algorithms are designed and tested on fading channels
