Justification of manufacturing technology capital investment-an integrated approach

This paper presents an integrated approach that may be used by the decision makers, who are confronted with the problems of choosing the technology among the set of alternatives available to the market. The approach provides a systematic methodology for the multi-criterion technology selection process and has the capability of integrating both aspects, technical and economic, of the evaluation process, resulting in a unified techno-economic measure as a guide for decision making
