Abstract :
This work describes the design, synthesis and implementation of a microelectronic analog circuit solution for one-cycle nonlinear control of switching DC-DC power converters. The circuit proposal operates mostly in current-mode, which allows extending the operation margin in terms of switching frequency in front of previous existing design approaches. Layout-extracted HSPICE simulation results for a CMOS 0.8 μm technology validate both the functionality of the circuit and its proper operation at switching frequencies up to the MHz range
