  • Abstract
    This paper presents a semi-blind equalisation scheme for a multi-carrier code division multiple access system (MC-CDMA). The combination of a MC technique (OFDM) and spread-spectrum technique (CDMA) gives rise to an access technique which is robust to channel impairments, relatively low complexity and high flexibility in bandwidth assignment. The technique proposed in this paper uses a blind channel estimation technique assuming previous knowledge of the frequency spreading code of desired user´s signal. It makes use of orthogonal transmit diversity and multiple antennas at the receiver, providing diversity gain and immunity to multipath fading and co-channel interference
