Abstract :
Fiber nonlinearities are assessed theoretically and experimentally for WDM-CATV transmissions. For fixed channel number, twofold reduction of channel spacing or for fixed spacing, twofold increase of channel number, increases crosstalk by 3dB/ch and 1dB/ch, respectively.
