  • Abstract
    A new method for calibrating the microcontroller based instruments which have no human-machine dialog is presented. The PC is used as an external dialog component for this kind of instrument when performing calibration. By serial communication between the instrument and PC, the instrument´s internal settings and parameters for application can be modified easily on the PC. After this method had been used in a practical project, the result showed it has the advantage of high performance and reliability, low cost and is easy to use
