Abstract
In this contribution two solutions for the management of cellular intranet, based on the mobile IP and cellular IP protocols integration are investigated. The first solution adopts a centralized architecture built over the gateway and the home agent. It is most suited for security needs and client/server traffic. The second solution utilizes the mobile IP with routing optimization for macro mobility management. It offers optimized routing, speeds-up the handoff procedures, supports real time traffic and is therefore oriented toward the quality of service
