Abstract
The presented study concludes that the concept of wireless data transmission inside space platforms is technically feasible. At present, we are designing and testing a complete wireless data transmission system in an environment that simulates a space platform of the CRV, ATV or orbital laboratory type. The reason for applying a wireless system is to decrease the complexity, diminish the mass and increase the inhabitable or useful space of platforms. The main aspects to be considered are related to radio propagation problems and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). An important aspect in the analysis and design of the system is the development of a model of the radio channel of the maximum accuracy possible. On this basis we made an improved high-frequency model for propagation in enclosed spaces of small dimensions
