Abstract
Multiuser detection in severe multi-path fading environment is still under investigation. In this paper we propose a new receiver for up-link W-CDMA, combining narrowband sub-coding and adaptive antenna theory. Results are compared to the classic RAKE receiver with omnidirectional antenna and they demonstrate how to significantly improve the receiver´s performance in terms of BER and algorithm complexity
