Abstract
This paper is concerned with the problem of quadratic stability analysis of continuous nonlinear control systems given by Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy models. A set of new quadratic stability conditions for fuzzy regulators of the class of fuzzy control systems are presented in terms of solvability of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). It is shown that the new quadratic stability criteria provide better or at least the same results of the existing methods in the literature, and numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed stability criterion
