Abstract
Helicopter can be used to detect and identify a variety of power equipments along the transmission lines, and diagnose the fault types of equipments. This paper presents a method based on Adaboost for vibration damper recognition of transmission system. Adaboost classifier is an accurate learner. Strong classifiers, which are composed of a group of weak classifiers by certain rules, can build up a fast and accurate classifier by cascade. Experiment results show the feasibility of the method.
