Abstract
The paper proposes a new method of fault transient signal singularity detection by wavelet transform, analyzes the main drawbacks of present starting algorithms which use only adjacent scale of WTMM of WTMS ratio to determine the Lipschitz coefficients, presents a new method for estimating Lipschitz coefficients based on least square method by fitting the data of various scales. ATP-EMTP simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can more accurately analyze singularity of fault signal.
